Lost in a Good Book, Jasper Fforde

More relentlessly twee than its predecessor (The Eyre Affair). I laughed out loud more than once, but I don't think it would be funny on rereading; the emotional parts of the plot are less fleshed out, and the jokes are largely of the shaggy-dog and funny-voice kind, all on literary subjects.
