A biography of
Edna St Vincent Millay. It's a personal history, and Vincent
left plenty of scandalous or sad material, but I am grateful that Milford
thinks the poetry is most important (inserts whole poems when discussing
them-v. convenient!) I am left curious abt historical changes in poetry
during Millay's career, either because of her or in despite.
